KELOR ISLAND, A TINY PARADISE WITH EXTRAORDINARY PANORAMIC VIEW
There are two islands in Indonesia that are both named Kelor Island, and you should not be confused with one another. One is located in the Thousand Islands in Jakarta. The other is located in West Manggarai Regency in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
Kelor Island that we discussed here is located in East Nusa Tenggara Province, and very close to Labuan Bajo. It will take only one hour from Labuan Bajo to Kelor Island by using our Komodo Boat Tour.
Contrary to popular belief, this island is not within the Komodo National Park area, so you don't need to buy a ticket to get here. The island is very tiny, and with just 15 minutes short hike you can see a very beautiful panoramic view over the island of Flores and several small islands surrounding it. A good spot to take some Instagram-worthy photos.
The beach is crystal clear. The west side of the beach tends to be more shallow and perfect for children to play with. You can see various types of fish here, and the corals are also very rich and beautiful. You can also relax under a tree while enjoying a refreshment provided by our crew.
