GILI LAWA DARAT
GILI LAWA DARAT, THE MOST PHOTOGENIC ISLAND IN KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
Many people call it Gili Lawa Darat. There are also those who call it Gili Laba. This island is the only island that is able to compete for its beauty with the island of Padar. In our opinion, what makes this island superior is because it also has a very diverse and unique underwater beauty that Padar Island does not have. This island is also a favorite place for advanced divers. There is a special spot on the seabed known as Castle Rock and sometimes only highly professional divers practice the shotgun diving method.
You must choose a private Komodo boat tour that offers liveaboard service to enjoy the island because the island is located at the northern of Komodo National Park and you must spend at least one night once you reach the destination. Minimum of 3 days 2 nights trip or better, 4 days 3 nights. It took four hours one-way to get to the island of Gili Lawa Darat using the Komodo boat from Labuan Bajo.
